Shipping policy

OVERVIEW
VerdantVille™ currently ships orders within the United States only. We offer Economy shipping with free shipping on qualifying domestic orders, and use major carriers such as USPS, FedEx, and UPS based on cost and service. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, and deliver your orders, and how shipping relates to our Terms of Service and Refund Policy.
SECTION 1 – ORDER PROCESSING TIMES
Stock items
Orders for in‑stock items are typically processed and shipped within 1 business day after your order is placed, and often sooner. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Custom or made‑to‑order items
Orders that require customization or production typically ship within 2–3 business days to allow for production time.
Business days
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.
Processing times
Processing times are separate from carrier transit times. During peak periods, weather events, or carrier disruptions, processing and delivery may take longer.
SECTION 2 – SHIPPING METHODS AND RATES
Domestic (U.S.) shipping only
At this time, VerdantVille ships orders to addresses within the United States. We do not currently ship internationally.
Carriers
We primarily use USPS for convenience and cost, and may also ship via FedEx or UPS depending on the destination, package size/weight, and available rates.
Economy shipping
Our default option is Economy shipping using major carriers.
Free shipping threshold
Free Economy shipping is usually available on qualifying U.S. orders of $50.00 USD or more, before taxes and after discounts. Orders that do not meet the free shipping threshold will be charged shipping at checkout based on carrier‑calculated rates and/or any flat‑rate options we offer.
The exact shipping options, free shipping eligibility, and prices available to you will be shown at checkout based on your delivery address and the items in your cart.
SECTION 3 – SHIPPING DESTINATIONS AND ADDRESS REQUIREMENTS
United States only
We ship to residential and business addresses in the United States.
PO boxes
We can ship to PO boxes via USPS for eligible shipments. Some larger items or certain carrier services may require a physical street address; if this applies, we’ll contact you to confirm an alternative address.
Address accuracy
Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate. We are not responsible for delivery failures due to incorrect, incomplete, or outdated addresses provided at checkout.
SECTION 4 – ORDER CONFIRMATION, TRACKING, AND DELIVERY
Order confirmation
After you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation email summarizing your purchase.
Shipping confirmation and tracking
When your order ships, we’ll send a shipping confirmation email that includes tracking information, if available from the carrier.
Delivery estimates
Any delivery dates or transit times shown at checkout or in shipping confirmation emails are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Carriers may experience delays due to weather, high volume, or other factors outside our control.
Please use the tracking information provided to follow your shipment’s progress and expected delivery date.
SECTION 5 – DELAYS, LOST, OR DAMAGED PACKAGES
Carrier delays
Once we hand your order to the carrier, it is in the carrier’s control. Carriers may experience delays due to weather, operational issues, or other events beyond VerdantVille’s control. While we cannot guarantee delivery dates, we will assist you in contacting the carrier if a shipment is significantly delayed.
Damaged or incorrect items
If your order arrives with damaged items, incorrect items, or missing items:
- Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us at chris@verdantville.com as soon as possible with your order number and photos (if applicable).
- We will review the issue and work with you to repair, replace, or refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.
Lost packages in transit (not marked delivered)
If the carrier tracking shows that your package is stuck, lost in transit, or has not been delivered within a reasonable time:
- Contact us at chris@verdantville.com with your order number and tracking information.
- We will work with the carrier to investigate and, where appropriate, send a replacement or issue a refund.
Packages marked delivered but not received (lost or stolen after delivery)
If the carrier’s tracking shows that your package has been delivered but you cannot locate it:
- First, check around your property (porch, side door, garage, lobby, mailbox, with neighbors) and confirm that the shipping address provided at checkout is correct.
- If you still cannot find the package, contact the carrier directly to open a delivery inquiry or claim.
- You may also contact us at chris@verdantville.com and we will help you review tracking details and support your inquiry. However, please note that once a package is marked delivered by the carrier, risk of loss generally passes to the recipient under our Terms of Service, and we are not obligated to replace or refund items that carriers confirm as delivered.
As a small business, we handle these situations case‑by‑case. In some circumstances, we may, at our discretion, offer a courtesy replacement, discount, or other accommodation, but this is not guaranteed and does not create an ongoing obligation to replace lost or stolen packages.
SECTION 6 – RETURNS, CHANGES, AND CANCELLATIONS
Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. That policy explains eligibility, timelines, factory seconds, final sale items, and how shipping charges are handled for returns.
Order changes and cancellations
Because we aim to process orders quickly, we may not be able to change or cancel orders once they have been submitted and processing has begun. If you need to request a change or cancellation, email chris@verdantville.com as soon as possible with your order number.
Where we are unable to change or cancel an order before shipment, your order may still be eligible for return under our Refund Policy once you receive it.
SECTION 7 – CHANGES TO SHIPPING POLICY
We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will apply to orders placed after the updated date.
