FAQ - Policies
VerdantVille™ Store Policies Overview
We want shopping with VerdantVille to feel clear and fair, so we’ve organized our key policies into three main documents: our Terms of Service, Refund Policy, and Shipping Policy. Each one covers a specific part of your experience with us.
1. Terms of Service – how our site and store work
Our Terms of Service explain the rules for using our website and online store. They cover things like creating and using an account, placing orders, prices and promotions, how we handle feedback and reviews, and what happens if something goes wrong with the site or with your use of the Services. They also explain that our store is powered by Shopify, but your purchases are made directly with VerdantVille. https://verdantville.com/policies/terms-of-service
2. Refund Policy – returns, exchanges, and factory seconds
Our Refund Policy explains when and how you can return items. It covers:
- Our 14‑day window to request a return after you receive your order.
- The condition items must be in to be eligible (original condition, tags, packaging, proof of purchase).
- Which items are considered final sale, including factory seconds and certain discounted or imperfect items.
- How we handle damaged or incorrect orders, and how refunds are processed once we receive and inspect a return.
If you’re wondering whether something can be returned or refunded, this is the policy to check. https://verdantville.com/policies/refund-policy
3. Shipping Policy – processing, carriers, and delivery issues
Our Shipping Policy explains how we process and ship your order, including:
- That we currently ship within the United States only.
- Typical processing times for in‑stock and custom items.
- Our use of carriers like USPS, FedEx, and UPS, and our Economy shipping option.
- When free Economy shipping is usually available, and how shipping costs are shown at checkout.
- How we handle delays, lost or damaged packages, and what happens if a package is marked delivered but you can’t find it.
It also explains that once we hand your package to the carrier, risk of loss generally passes to you, while still outlining how we try to help if there’s a problem with delivery. https://verdantville.com/policies/shipping-policy
How these policies work together
- The Terms of Service are the foundation—they describe your rights and responsibilities when using our site and placing orders.
- The Refund Policy focuses specifically on returns, exchanges, factory seconds, and how refunds are handled.
- The Shipping Policy focuses on order processing, shipping methods, free‑shipping eligibility, and what happens if delivery issues arise.
If anything is unclear or you have a situation that doesn’t seem to fit neatly into one of these policies, you can always reach out to us at chris@verdantville.com and we’ll walk through it with you.
